Corporate Whistleblower Center Urges Anesthesiologists Or Hospital Insiders To Call Them About Whistleblower Rewards If They Possess Proof of Overbilling Medicare

PR Web

(PRWEB) December 03, 2013

The Corporate Whistleblower Center says, "Healthcare costs in general are now the focus of great national attention given the roll-out of the Affordable Care Act. We think Medicare and Medicaid fraud, which costs taxpayers billions of dollars a year, should be part of this discussion. Whistleblowers who step forward with proof of Medicare fraud help everyone by putting a stop to abusing tax dollars for corporate gain, as we would like to explain if they call us at 866-714-6466. There can also be significant rewards for this type of information.”

The Corporate Whistleblower Center is urging anesthesiologists, surgeons, radiologists, or any type of hospital insider to call them at 866-714-6466 if they have well-documented proof that a hospital or healthcare center is overbilling Medicare. According to a recent report, a hospital company in California agreed to pay $46 million to California’s Department of Insurance to settle allegations that it violated the False Claims Act. According to the lawsuit the hospital chain allegedly overbilled Medicare by including misleading or completely false charges related to anesthesiology in its surgery bills. Allegedly patients and their insurance companies received separate charges relating to the same service. http://CorporateWhistleblowerCenter.Com

“Situations like these are not uncommon,” says the Corporate Whistleblower Center. “Anyone with proof of this type of fraud should call us at 866-714-6466 and learn more about whistleblower provisions and reward programs. All information is kept confidential.”

Simple rules for a whistleblower from the Corporate Whistleblower Center:

   •  Do not go to the government first if you are a major whistleblower. The Corporate Whistleblower Center says, “Major whistleblowers frequently go to the federal government thinking they will help. It’s a huge mistake.”

   •  Do not go to the news media with your whistleblower information. Public revelation of a whistleblower’s information could destroy any prospect for a reward.

   •  Do not try to force a government contractor, or corporation to come clean to the government about their wrongdoing. The Corporate Whistleblower Center says, “Fraud is so rampant among federal contractors that any suggestion of exposure might result in an instant job termination, or harassment of the whistleblower. Come to us first, tell us what type of information you have, and if we think it’s sufficient, we will help find the right law firms to assist in advancing your information.”

   •  The Corporate Whistleblower Center wants to emphasize there are high quality whistleblowers in every state including California, New York, Florida, Texas, Massachusetts, Connecticut, Rhode Island, Maine, Vermont, Maryland, Virginia, Ohio, Pennsylvania, West Virginia, Tennessee, North Carolina, Georgia, Alabama, Louisiana, Mississippi, Missouri, Michigan, Iowa, Indiana, Illinois, Wisconsin, Minnesota, North Dakota, Nebraska, Kansas, Colorado, Utah, New Mexico, Arizona, Nevada, Idaho, Oregon, Washington, and Alaska.

Any type of insider or employee who possesses significant proof of their employer or a government contractor defrauding the federal government is encouraged to contact to Corporate Whistleblower Center anytime at 866-714-6466 or via their web site at http://CorporateWhistleBlowerCenter.Com
