How to prevent the spread

President Donald Trump has asked the nation to avoid gatherings of 10 or more people, according to his coronavirus guidelines issued Monday.

The U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention says the virus likely spreads between people who are in close contact. To help prevent the spread of the virus, the CDC recommends people wash their hands often for at least 20 seconds with water and soap.
