"This process that we are going through right now, this is a discussion draft. We are seeking input, and we are having ongoing negotiations with Senators. We would invite our Democratic colleagues to join us. So far they have refused to participate in the process. But if they continue to refuse, we have no choice other than to do our best to try to rescue the American people from the failures of Obamacare."

"This, to me, is one of the most positive aspects of the bill: that even if you live in a state like Texas that did not expand Medicaid, that people... will now have access to tax credits they can use to buy private insurance."
