Community focus

Halle Carmean, Vincennes, a graduate of South Knox High School, has been named a 2026-27 President's Scholar at Indiana State University.

For incoming freshmen, the President's Scholarship provides full in-state tuition and on-campus housing.

Carmean will pursue a degree in insurance and risk management through the Scott College of Business.
