CM Vantage Names Chief Underwriting Officer

MADISON, Wis.--(BUSINESS WIRE)-- Michael York II has been named chief underwriting officer for CM Vantage Specialty Insurance Company, reporting to President Alan Ogilvie.

York will oversee CM Vantage’s underwriting operations and work closely with CM Vantage’s distribution partners.

“Michael is a proven leader in the surplus lines insurance market and we are very pleased to have him join the CM Vantage team,” said Alan Ogilvie, president of CM Vantage.

Prior to joining CM Vantage, Michael spent 24 years in the insurance industry, the last two as vice president, underwriting at Colony Specialty Insurance. Prior to Colony, Michael spent six years with AIG Insurance.
