Clements Worldwide Announces the Global Launch of the 2017 Expat Youth Scholarship
Clements Worldwide, leading provider of international insurance since 1947, opened its annual Expat Youth Scholarship (EYS) today, which awards a combined scholarship prize of
"With expat numbers approaching 1% of the global population, these young people have the opportunity to be the global ambassadors of tomorrow in government, business, and the arts," said
This year's theme is "How do you use your experience living abroad to make the world a better place," which entrants will answer using a picture and a short essay. All entries will be displayed at the Scholarship Facebook page and a public voting will be held to choose the inspiring finalists from each of our two age-range categories – 13-16 years old and 17-21 years old.

Over the last eight years, the Scholarship has received inspiring entries from youth all around the world, typically students living with their parents or studying abroad. As the number of expats increases, students are growing up in unique, and often economically disadvantaged, locations. Their parents work for aid organizations, government entities, and multinational businesses, representing Clements' broad customer base. These students possess a different viewpoint than children growing up in their home country.
