Claiming Mis-Sold Payment Protection Insurance Is No More a Problem

ReleaseWire

iSmart Consumer Solutions says since their launch in 2007, they could recover millions of pounds of PPI for their clientsNorthampton, England -- (SBWIRE) -- 01/23/2017 -- The news that iSmart Consumer Solutions can help in checking if PPI or Payment Protection Insurance has been mis-sold and in claiming it back may excite those gullible people who have been affected by this act of the lending and credit card companies. According to iSmart Consumer Solutions, lending and credit card companies have been taking their clients for a ride and have been mis-selling PPI even in those instances in which it is not necessary. The company says they offer help to these people so they can claim the PPI back.

iSmart quotes from the finding of the Financial Conduct Authority that says that lending and credit card companies are mis-selling PPI to hundreds of thousands of people. Most of these people have been sold insurance that does not suit their requirements. There are people who have been misguided by incorrect or incomplete information and persuaded to part with their hard-earned money. iSmart says that if these people want, they can help them reclaim the PPI that they have unnecessarily bought.

The company points out that they launched their company in 2007 and since then, they have helped a number of people to successfully claim back PPI. They have also helped people get compensation for having been wrongly guided for buying PPI. Precisely put, till now, they have helped in recovering millions of pounds of mis-sold PPI, says the company.

The company says that they need the details of the finance or credit cards their customers have obtained and the amounts they have paid for buying PPI. For obtaining these basic details, they do a free check service, says the company.

iSmart Consumer Solutions assertively says that those who have not asked for PPI but have been mis-sold it by adding it to the finance, can now claim it back. Of course, there may be instances in which people may have been misled to believe that PPI is compulsory for obtaining the loan they require. Similarly, the facts that this payment protection insurance is optional or people can go for cheaper insurance elsewhere may have been hidden from them also, says iSmart.

Lenders or credit card companies may have hidden certain policy exclusions as well. Examples of these instances are there are a few specific terms that provide for cancellation of the cover and there are a few important exclusions like stress-related illness and back problems. Likewise, unemployed, self-employed and retired people and those who have been affected by an illness or medical problem that has prevented them from working need not buy PPI. Those who are already in possession of a cover like the employee benefits package that covers sickness, redundancy, etc. or that offers income protection are also excluded from buying this cover, says iSmart Consumer Solutions.
