City, unions for Hornell firefighters, police agree to contracts
Both the fire and police unions have ratified their contracts. The pacts were approved by the
"Since I have become mayor, I like to go for longer term contracts," Buckley told the
"When you have a collection of contracts that are three or four years, they are always popping up. And you don't know what those contracts are going to look like at any given time when they are coming up so having contracts that are extended, five, six, seven or even eight years in this case really gives us the ability to lay out the roadmap fiscally so we know where we are going to be.
