Carla Moradi Joins Hub International as Executive Vice President of Operations and Technology

CHICAGO--(BUSINESS WIRE)-- Hub International Limited (HUB), a leading global insurance brokerage, announced today that Carla Moradi has joined the company as Executive Vice President of Operations and Technology. Moradi will lead the implementation of strategic enterprise-wide customer technologies and operations, supporting all HUB regional locations throughout the US and Canada.

“Carla is a tremendous addition to HUB and will play a significant role in leading our operations and technology strategy across the company while expanding our core capabilities to support local client-facing activities,” said Martin Hughes, Chairman of the Board and Chief Executive Officer. “We are excited to have Carla join our executive management team and know that she will be a significant contributor to HUB.”

Moradi will be based in Chicago and report to Mr. Hughes. Moradi most recently served as Group Vice President & CIO at Walgreens Boots Alliance where she was responsible for IT infrastructure, architecture, security and technology field operations. She also held leadership positions at Walgreens Health Services, Retek (now Oracle Retail) and Accenture. Moradi holds a Master of Business Administration in Finance from the A.B. Freeman School of Business and a Master of Public Health in Health Administration from the School of Public Health & Tropical Medicine at Tulane University.

She is a champion for women’s technology careers, having participated in numerous events and initiated the “Women in Technology” forum series while at Walgreens.
