Carla Albertze Named SVP, Head of Internal Audit

FGH Parent, L.P. (“Fortitude Re”), today announced the appointment of Carla Albertze as SVP, Head of Internal Audit. As Head of Internal Audit, Carla will be responsible for leading Fortitude Re’s Internal Audit Team to ensure the strength, effectiveness and efficiency of the company’s internal controls, risk management processes, and governance procedures.

Carla brings a wealth of experience to the role, most recently serving as VP, Internal Audit, where she performed audits in a number of areas including Deal Pricing, Model Risk Management, System Implementations, Data Migrations, Enterprise Risk Management, and more. Carla joined Fortitude Re from KPMG, where she focused on performing external audits of SEC registrants. During her tenure at KPMG, she spent many years working with clients in the reinsurance industry.

Carla is a Certified Chartered Accountant and a member of both the South African Institute of Chartered Accountants and the Chartered Professionals Accountants of Bermuda.
