Broehl Law Office is boutique law firm

Daily Record, The (Wooster, OH)

The Broehl Law Office is a small business founded by local attorney Margo E. Broehl in the Garden Level of her home in 1981. Alongside her dedicated staff, Robin Miller, Leanne Robison, and Tony Sigler, Mrs. Broehl grew the firm so much that additional space and staff were needed.

In 2015, The Broehl Law Office moved into Wooster’s historic G.P. Emrich/ William Annat house and Margo welcomed Partner, attorney Elizabeth Krieder Wright. Since then, the firm has added the likes of Lynda Varno, Alisa Odenkirk, Brandy Burkett, attorney Joshua Montgomery, Cecelia Gingery, and Sue Overmeier to continue to best serve clients and their families. Keeping client needs at the forefront of their business and looking ahead to the future, Attorneys Broehl and Krieder Wright recently named attorney Joshua E. Montgomery as Partner of the Broehl Law Office.

The Broehl Law Office is a boutique law firm focusing its practice in Estate Planning (Wills and Trusts), Estate Administration, Farm and Small Business Succession Planning, Medical Advocacy, Personal Injury, Disability, Adoption, Guardianship, Special Education Advocacy, Small Business Services, Contracts and Privacy and Corporate Law. We offer comprehensive legal services for clients to address their personal and family needs, as well as their professional and business needs.

Attorney Broehl established the Broehl Law Office to provide caring, compassionate, comprehensive, and result-driven legal services to clients and their families. We are an accessible place where all people can feel welcome and valued. We have empathetic ears and strong shoulders of support, and we truly care about our clients and their families. We strive to make your legal needs as stress-free, manageable, and well-planned as possible.

Additionally, the Broehl Law Office enthusiastically supports entrepreneurs and values the positive impact that small businesses, family farms, and corporations provide to our community. We take great pride in being a full-service, in-house legal counsel for small to medium businesses. Whether it’s starting a new business, protecting the family farm, or discussing a vast array of business matters with engineering firms or technology companies, the Broehl Law Office is equipped to meet your legal needs and help you protect and grow your business!

The Broehl Law Office saw many positive changes to our growing business in 2019. The firm welcomed additional support-staff members, launched new programs, built a new and improved website (www.BroehlLawOffice.com), started accepting credit card payments and continued to make modernization improvements to the G.P. Emrich/ William Annat house. We feel honored to be the caretakers of this beautiful and timeless Wayne County landmark!

A Legal Wellness Program was debuted during our Client Appreciation luncheon in October 2018, with appointments taking place throughout the 2019 calendar year. This program serves as a “legal check-up” for our clients to ensure that all their legal questions are addressed, their goals are achieved, and their wishes are met.

In 2019, the Broehl Law Office expanded upon our specialty legal services to include medical advocacy, personal injury, disability, compliance with state and federal privacy and HIPAA regulations, special education advocacy, and expanded business services, including human resource law.

Additionally, our office has been serving clients in the agricultural business since the inception of the firm; however, Partners Broehl, Krieder Wright and Montgomery are committed to ensuring that our farming families of Wayne county know about our farm-focused, individualized legal services provided by the Broehl Law Office.

“We really want to shine a spotlight on agriculture business, as our community is steeped in tradition from farming families,” said attorney Elizabeth Krieder Wright. “Many of our fourth generation of client families are in some way involved with agriculture.

Additionally, many of our staff members have children in 4H, FFA or grew up on a farm themself. It just seemed natural to pull everything together now.” The Broehl Law Office is a member of the Wayne County Farm Bureau and is a proud supporter of Wayne county 4H and FFA programs.

“We’re passionate about our community,” Krieder Wright said.

Lastly, the firm launched a Summer Internship Program and continues to support local students within the Wayne County Schools Career Center. The Broehl Law Office offers exciting and challenging work assignments as well as training and mentoring. Interns gain real world work experience within the legal field in a fast-pace work environment. In addition, Interns have face-to-face contact with all attorneys and support staff.

The Summer Internship Program is open to current law school students, or college Sophomores or Juniors with a Business Administration, Pre-Law or Liberal Arts major. Good academic standing, with a GPA of 3.0 or higher is required. A long-term interest in a career within the legal field is necessary, as well. To learn more information and apply for our Summer Internship Program visit: www.BroehlLawOffice.com.

Partners of the Broehl Law Office, attorneys Margo E. Broehl and Elizabeth Krieder Wright, recently named Joshua E. Montgomery as Partner. The addition of Mr. Montgomery is part of the Broehl Law Office’s strategic plan to grow the firm Mrs. Broehl established to provide caring, comprehensive legal services to clients and their families. He practices in the areas of Estate Planning, Medical Advocacy, Disability, Special Education Advocacy, Business Services, Contracts, and Privacy.

“Josh is so deserving of this honor. His commitment to our community is awesome and we have such a supportive, effective team here!” Krieder Wright added.

Mr. Montgomery is a Wooster native who earned his Juris Doctorate degree, summa cum laude, from Akron Law School in 2018. During Law School, Joshua served as Executive Director of Student Writing for the Akron Law Review and was involved in both research and advocacy for the Akron Law Review Journal. He graduated summa cum laude from the University of Akron in 2015 with a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science: Criminal Justice. Joshua and his wife, Gabrielle, who is an intervention specialist at Cornerstone Elementary in Wooster, enjoy traveling, reading, spending time with family, frequenting local restaurants and stores, and attending community events in Downtown Wooster.

“I’m tremendously grateful to be named a partner with two incredible attorneys, Margo E. Broehl and Elizabeth Krieder Wright. I’ve been given a wonderful opportunity to serve our fantastic clients alongside Margo and Elizabeth, and I am excited to continue to learn from them as we grow our practice,” he said. “I am particularly honored to serve our small business clients, family farm clients, and the third- and fourth-generation clients Margo has faithfully served over several decades. I can’t wait to see what the future holds!”

The Broehl Law Office serves as a referral source for many legal questions, including Human Resource items. We want to be your trusted advisor and make sure that your legal needs are being met. In the event we are not the best firm for your situation, we will connect you with reputable counsel for your needs!

“When you need a lawyer who leads with compassion and acts like a friend,” said foudner Margo E. Broehl said.

We are currently serving our fourth generation of client families and feel exceptionally grateful to have helped so many families, small business, family farms, major corporations, and non-profits with their legal needs. It is a joy to do business and foster growth in our beloved Wayne County! We are growing and look forward to all the positive happenings in 2020 and beyond. The future is bright!
