Feb. 13--A two-vehicle crash involving a row of shopping carts in the Hugo's Family Marketplace parking lot in the afternoon on Feb. 2 caused injury to a store employee, according to the Jamestown Police Department.
Dustin Vaughn, 32, Fargo, was driving a 2003 Chevrolet Trailblazer SUV westbound at 4:50 p.m. in the Hugo's parking lot at 310 1st Ave. S, when Vaughn struck a row of shopping carts being pushed by Skylar Martin, 17, Jamestown. The row of carts was pushed into a 2006 Pontiac Montana minivan driven by Lynette Berry, 39, Jamestown.
Berry and Vaughn wore seat belts and were not injured. Martin said he felt pain in his right wrist and about an hour after the accident left work due to the injury, police said.
Both vehicles received minor damage and there was no damage to the shopping carts.
Vaughn was cited for no proof of insurance in the vehicle.
