BRIEF: Child ejected from vehicle during Monday wreck in Glasgow
Glasgow Daily Times (KY)
Feb. 20--A 4-year-old boy was transported to Vanderbilt University Hospital after he was ejected from a vehicle Monday morning.
According to a Glasgow Police Department news release issued Tuesday, Kyle Bragg, 30, of Glasgow was driving south on South Fork Road at about 6:54 a.m. when he lost control of the vehicle he was operating, causing it to overturn.
His 4-year-old son, who was not restrained in a child safety seat, was ejected during the rollover and was flown to Vanderbilt University Hospital for medical treatment, according to the news release.
His condition was unknown as of Tuesday morning.
Bragg and his 1-year-old daughter -- who was restrained in a child safety seat at the time of the wreck -- were transported to T.J. Samson Community Hospital for treatment of their injuries.
Bragg was wearing a seat belt at the time of the wreck.
Bragg didn't show proof of insurance on the vehicle, according to the news release, and was cited for failure of non-owner to maintain insurance and failure to use child safety restraint.
