Blue Capital posts 4Q profit

PEMBROKE, Bermuda (AP) _ Blue Capital Reinsurance Holdings Ltd. (BCRH) on Wednesday reported fourth-quarter earnings of $4 million.

The Pembroke, Bermuda-based company said it had net income of 46 cents per share.

The reinsurance company posted revenue of $11 million in the period.

For the year, the company reported profit of $14.3 million, or $1.63 per share. Revenue was reported as $42.6 million.

Blue Capital shares have climbed nearly 2 percent since the beginning of the year. In the final minutes of trading on Wednesday, shares hit $18.75, a rise of 4 percent in the last 12 months.
