Bill does not improve health care

Missoulian (MT)

There is absolutely nothing in Trump’s “health care” bill that has to do with improving health care, everything to do with huge tax breaks enriching the those who make a living via capital gains, not those who actually work for a living. That means the burden of taxes on folks who actually work and pay taxes will increase, the deficit rises, and our access to health care decreases while getting more expensive.

Our Republican representatives need to stop with the tricky, sneaky “tax breaks! Yay jobs!” stuff, and just call it Trump’s “Wealthcare” plan, not a health care bill. The Democrats need to stop the mamby pambly, and tell people the truth about how few will actually get billions in tax breaks. Then propose a health care bill that will make health care affordable and accessible to the majority of us.

B. Strand,

Missoula
