Best’s Review Names Top 20 Risk Management and Insurance Schools in Free Digital Supplement
The schools were grouped into four categories: top performers, strong performers, popular performers and contenders. Top performers include
Best’s Review’s ranking reflects the views of the insurance industry, and specifically, the businesses that hire the graduates. An online survey drew responses from 272 industry professionals. Best’s Review also interviewed hiring managers from 28 of the largest carriers and brokerages who shared their views on how well various programs prepared their graduates.

The interviews and the online survey yielded other findings, including:
- More than two-thirds (68.2%) of online respondents believe risk management and insurance programs are sending graduates into the workforce with the skills they need to succeed;
- 27.9% said graduates are somewhat prepared but not enough; and
- 3.8% believe risk management and insurance programs aren’t preparing their students for success.
