Attorneys Merrell Bailey and Hallie Zobel to Present Course on Estate Planning and Probate at the Rollins Center for Lifelong Learning

ORLANDO, Fla., Sept. 29, 2015 /PRNewswire/ -- Estate attorneys Mary Merrell Bailey and Hallie L. Zobel of Your Caring Law Firm in Maitland, FL, will present an estate planning course during the month of October to seniors over age 50 at the Rollins Center for Lifelong Learning (RCLL) in Winter Park, FL.  The four-sessions of 90-minutes each course titled, "The Fundamentals of Estate Planning and Probate: What Every Senior Should Know," will be held Thursday evenings beginning October 8, 2015, on the Rollins College campus.

"Hallie Zobel and I are thrilled to be teaching this fun and interactive course to seniors who want to grow their knowledge while making social connections with peers," said Merrell Bailey.  "We are delighted to be a part of this exceptional senior enrichment experience at Rollins College."

Bailey and Zobel planned the delivery of the course to coincide with National Estate Planning Awareness Week, Oct. 19-25, 2015, which began in 2008 to broaden awareness that estate planning is a vital component of financial wellness.  "Hallie and I believe that teaching this course will help to underscore that message," said Bailey.

"It's truly an honor to be on the faculty of an adult learning program that has been recognized as a model for the nation," said Zobel.  She noted that in 2014, the Rollins Center for Lifelong Learning received the Older Adult Model Program Award from the Association for Continuing Higher Education.

RCLL is accepting registrations for the class. Seniors who participate will enjoy a bit of levity when the first session launches on October 8, 2015 with a fun, introductory exercise titled "Are You Smarter than an Estate Planning Attorney?" Subsequent Thursday evening classes will highlight lessons from Downton Abbey, the estate planning faux pas of certain celebrities, and probate and planning lessons from the Wizard of Oz.
