Aspen Insurance: 3Q Earnings Snapshot

HAMILTON, Bermuda (AP) _ Aspen Insurance Holdings Ltd. (AHL) on Wednesday reported a loss of $15.1 million in its third quarter.

The Hamilton, Bermuda-based company said it had a loss of 38 cents per share. Earnings, adjusted for non-recurring costs, were 49 cents per share.

The insurance and reinsurance company posted revenue of $670.5 million in the period.

Aspen Insurance shares have risen 2.5 percent since the beginning of the year. In the final minutes of trading on Wednesday, shares hit $41.62, falling slightly in the last 12 months.
