Targeted News Service (Press Releases)

WASHINGTON, Oct. 21 (TNSper) -- The American Property Casualty Insurance Association issued the following news release:

The members of the American Property Casualty Insurance Association (APCIA) approved new officers, effective Jan. 1, 2023, to its Board of Directors during the association's annual business meeting. Alan Schnitzer, chairman and CEO of The Travelers Companies, Inc. (NYSE: TRV) has been elected chair, and Dino E. As part of the Board's leadership team, Alan has provided invaluable guidance to APCIA and our members.

"Dino has demonstrated effective leadership as CEO of CNA Financial Corporation. He has been steadfastly committed to promoting and protecting the viability of private, competitive insurance markets for the benefit of policyholders for years to come.

"Insurers are an essential part of society as they give families and businesses the confidence to invest while providing the financial protection our communities need to recover and rebuild after disasters. With the expertise and guidance of our new officers, we will further our efforts to be there to help our customers protect the things that matter most to them."
