AmeriHealth Caritas Ohio Adds Four Large Health Systems to its Provider Network

Nationwide Children’s Hospital, Cleveland Clinic Foundation, University Hospitals, and Kettering Health Join Providers Available to Members for Early 2023 Launch

DUBLIN, Ohio--(BUSINESS WIRE)--
AmeriHealth Caritas Ohio, a managed care organization that is slated to begin serving Ohio Medicaid enrollees in early 2023 and part of the AmeriHealth Caritas Family of Companies, announced that it has further expanded its provider network across the state. AmeriHealth Caritas Ohio and the following large health systems have signed agreements to allow health plan members to receive care from their affiliated hospitals, physicians, and other providers:

• Cleveland Clinic Foundation — A non-profit, multi-specialty academic medical center including a main campus in Cleveland that’s the No. 1-ranked hospital in Ohio by U.S. News & World Report¹, as well as 14 additional hospitals in northeast Ohio

• Nationwide Children’s Hospital — One of the highest-ranked children’s hospitals in the country by U.S. News & World Report² and operator of the nation’s largest pediatric accountable care organization, Partners For Kids, which also includes Dayton Children’s Hospital

• University Hospitals — An integrated network of 21 hospitals (including five joint ventures), with a comprehensive cancer center and leading children’s hospital, more than 50 health centers and outpatient facilities, and more than 200 physician offices in 16 counties throughout northern Ohio

• Kettering Health — A nonprofit system of 14 Dayton and Cincinnati area medical centers, Kettering College, and 120 outpatient facilities
