AM Best to Participate at American Council of Life Insurers’ Annual Financial & Investment Roundtable

AM Best will participate in the American Council of Life Insurers’ (ACLI) Financial & Investment Roundtable, taking place April 3-6, 2022, in Sea Island, GA.

Michael Porcelli, senior director, AM Best, will take part in a discussion at the event, titled, “Industry View: A Look at the NAIC Financial Stability Initiative,” which will examine the changing shape of industry ownership and provide perspectives on regulatory activities related to these issues. Joining Porcelli is Ramnath Balasubramanian, senior partner, McKinsey & Company, and moderating the panel is Michael Lovendusky, vice president and senior associate general counsel, ACLI. The one-hour session is scheduled for April 6, at 8 a.m. (EDT). Porcelli has nearly three decades of experience in various roles in the banking and insurance industries, and is a Fellow of the Society of Actuaries. He currently heads up AM Best’s team of life/annuity insurance rating analysts covering North American and Caribbean insurers.
