Alldredge Named Next CEO of National Association of Mutual Insurance Companies

"With his extensive knowledge of the organization, deep advocacy experience, and strong relationship with its membership, there is great confidence in his prospective leadership of NAMIC as its president and CEO," Zak continued. "We believe Neil's strategic thinking, management abilities, and vision for how the association should evolve in these challenging times will allow NAMIC to continue to grow and thrive."
Before taking over Corporate Affairs in 2017, Alldredge led NAMIC's state legislative, regulatory, and international advocacy efforts for 17 years.
In that role, Alldredge regularly testified in legislatures around the country and represented NAMIC members at the
"Neil's deep understanding of insurance issues at all levels combined with his knowledge of the association make him uniquely qualified to lead NAMIC," Zak said. "I am confident that under his leadership the membership will be in good hands and, along with the rest of the NAMIC board, I look forward to working with Neil."
Alldredge thanked Chamness for being "both a friend and mentor to me. NAMIC has thrived with Chuck's leadership and I look forward to building on that success," and he wished Chamness "all the best in his well-deserved, though somewhat delayed, retirement." Alldredge also thanked Zak for his leadership of the NAMIC's Search Committee and Board of Directors.
"NAMIC is a terrific organization, filled with talented people who serve a noble industry, and it is the honor of a lifetime to have the opportunity to lead this organization," Alldredge said. "My vision is to play to our strength, innovate, and serve the interests of the mutual property/casualty insurance industry. I truly can't wait to get started."
