A.M. Best Withdraws Ratings of Safeway County Mutual Insurance Company

OLDWICK, N.J.--(BUSINESS WIRE)-- A.M. Best has withdrawn the financial strength rating of A (Excellent) and the issuer credit rating of “a” of Safeway County Mutual Insurance Company (County Mutual) (headquartered in Westmont, IL).

The rating actions follow the announcement that Safeway Insurance Company sold all of its outstanding shares of Coast to Coast Corporation to Redpoint Auto Holdings LLC. County Mutual is managed by Safeway Insurance Company through a management agreement, and the managing contract is owned by Coast to Coast Corporation, a company domiciled in Texas.
