Word & Brown Offers New Services for Texas Health Insurance Brokers [Manufacturing Close – Up]

Proquest LLC

Word & Brown announced a full suite of services expressly designed to assist Texas-based brokers expand their Medicare portfolio, whether or not they have ever sold Medicare before.

"As America ages and Medicare Advantage plans grow in popularity, the Medicare market provides tremendous business potential for Texas' brokers," said Gregg Ratkovic, SVP of the Word & Brown Individual Division, which offers Joppel, a CMS-approved Medicare quoting engine that brokers can install right on their own website. "Starting in October Texas' more than 3 million Medicare-eligible individuals will be making their annual healthcare selections. Now is the time for insurance brokers to make sure they are ready to be part of this expanding marketplace opportunity."

Through participation in "The Producers Club," the Company said Texas brokers can sell and service Medicare clients with the full support of Word & Brown's programs and products. Here brokers have access to top-carrier contracts, lead generation programs, customer relationship management technologies, and access to the Joppel quoting engine. Word & Brown will also help participating brokers establish their own Medicare and IFP website and will provide overall support and training in how to best penetrate this growing market.

"Brokers can earn significant revenue and successfully tap into a whole new marketplace by utilizing our sales system and the tools that we provide," said Ratkovic. "Brokers participating in this program receive full agent commission and advanced commissions of up to nine months with top commission and advances paid weekly."

The company's "Client Referral Program" allows brokers to simply refer leads to Word & Brown and then earn first-year and renewal commissions for each senior who enrolls. This program is ideal for brokers who don't want to actively participate in the Medicare market.

Alternatively, brokers can choose to subscribe to Word & Brown's "Producer Tools" and, through a monthly fee, have access to such Word & Brown products and services as multi-carrier Medicare and IFP quoting, lead-generation programs and customer relationship management tools.

"By leveraging our tools, programs and experience, brokers can supercharge their sales efforts, reach new markets, and expand their revenue base," said Ratkovic. "Whether brokers just want to make sure that their referrals are handled with their own personal touch, or if they wish to write a specific number of cases per month and want all of the services we can offer, we have what Texas brokers need."

The Word & Brown General Agency is part of the Word & Brown Companies, which provides services through brokers to employers.
