The Central Pennsylvania Food Bank has hired Jennifer Powell as director of development. Powell, of Lancaster, most recently was a fundraising consultant. Before that, she was executive director of Clare House for more than 11 years.

Powell is a Millersville University graduate.

Gibbel Kraybill & Hess has hired Jason Asbell as an associate attorney in its Lancaster office.

Asbell, of Lancaster, handles commercial litigation, land use litigation, personal injury cases and professional licensing cases.

He worked most recently as a litigation associate for Myers, Brier & Kelly in Scranton.

Asbell holds a bachelor's degree from Wake Forest University and a law degree from Emory University School of Law.

Paradise Energy Solutions has hired Bill Morgan as vice president of sales.

Morgan, of Lititz, has 20 years of experience in sales, most recently as vice president of sales for Credo Technology Solutions. He is an Ohio State University graduate.

Susquehanna Bank has hired Dawn Pellegrino as senior vice president and director of mortgage operations.

Pellegrino previously was vice president and mortgage operations manager with First Niagara. She will be relocating to the area from Northford, Connecticut.

Juniata College has named Ethan Gibbel, president of Gibbel Insurance Agency, to its board of trustees for a three-year term.

Gibbel, a 2002 Juniata College graduate, joined the family business in 2004 as a vice president and was named president earlier this year.

The Gibbel family has long served on the Juniata board. Gibbel's grandfather, Henry B. Gibbel, and great-grandfather, Henry R. Gibbel, were Juniata trustees. His uncle, Henry H. Gibbel, is a past chairman and remains on the board.

Millersville University has appointed Thomas Boyle director of the Entrepreneurship Leadership Center and Orlando J. Perez associate dean of humanities and social sciences.

Boyle, of Hershey, holds bachelor's, master's and doctoral degrees from Penn State University. Millersville hired him in 2001. He is a communications professor.

Perez, of Lancaster, holds a bachelor's degree from Florida International University and master's and doctorate degrees from the University of Pittsburgh. He previously was director of cultural and global studies at Central Michigan University.

Union Community Bank has hired Todd Keagy as senior vice president and community banking group manager and Michael Farina as vice president and Ephrata branch manager.

Keagy, of Hummelstown, previously was vice president and commercial lender for Orrstown Bank. He is an Elizabethtown College graduate.

Farina, of Lititz, most recently was a branch loan and operations manager for Fulton Bank. He is a graduate of Susquehanna University.

National Penn Bancshares has promoted Doug Denlinger to senior vice president and team leader in its Lancaster commercial lending group.

Denlinger, of Strasburg, joined National Penn in 2001. The Lancaster Bible College graduate most recently was vice president and team leader.

National Penn also promoted Dwight Rohrer to team leader of its Lancaster region agricultural leading.

Rohrer, of Manheim, continues as a vice president. The Hesston College graduate joined National Penn in 2007.

The Lancaster office of McNees Wallace & Nurick has added Denise E. Elliott as counsel.

Elliott, of Lancaster, will practice with the firm's labor and employment group.

She previously worked at Kegel Kelin Almy & Lord as a partner and chairwoman of its labor and employment law group

Elliott holds a bachelor's degree from the University of Delaware and a law degree from Temple University.
