Aug. 15--Three employees at Bernier, Carr & Associates, 327 Mullin St., have earned professional qualifications.
Professional engineers Thomas J. Cataldo and Matthew C. Walldroff have completed the two-part engineering licensure exam and are state-licensed mechanical engineers. John J. Oakes has completed the three-part exam to become a professional land surveyor.
Mr. Cataldo, Adams, joined Bernier, Carr in 2009. He graduated from Clarkson University, Potsdam, with a bachelor of science degree in mechanical engineering. He has 21 years of mechanical engineering experience in the industrial field.
Mr. Walldroff, LaFargeville, joined Bernier, Carr in 2008. He is a graduate of Rochester Institute of Technology and designed HVAC and plumbing systems for high-rise buildings, government offices, airports, hospitals, colleges, schools and pharmaceutical companies in New York City and Baltimore for six years. Mr. Walldroff is also a Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design-accredited professional.
Mr. Oakes, Deferiet, has been with Bernier, Carr since 2001. He graduated from Jefferson Community College and SUNY ESF Ranger School at Wanakena with an associate's degree in forestry and surveying.
Agent in ad campaign
Watertown Allstate agent Nancy McCabe is featured in a national print advertising campaign about Allstate motorcycle insurance in the September issue of Field & Stream magazine.
