ValueOptions Names Daniel Risku as EVP and General Counsel

ValueOptions said that Daniel Risku has been appointed the company's Executive Vice President and General Counsel.

In a release, the Company said that Risku replaces Paul Rosenberg who has taken on a strategic advisory role for its Public Sector and Health Plan divisions.

Risku joined ValueOptions in 2012 as Senior Vice President and Deputy General Counsel from the Blue Cross Blue Shield Association, where he served as Chief Washington Counsel. Previously Risku served as the Vice President of Segment Administration for Blue Cross Blue Shield of North Carolina. Prior to that, he was Vice President of Strategic Development. Earlier in his career, Risku served as Chief Legal Counsel for Prudential Financial's Northeastern health care and group insurance operations.

"Dan brings a wealth of legal experience in health plans and in the increasingly complex world of federal and state regulatory issues," said Heyward Donigan, ValueOptions President and Chief Executive Officer. "This, coupled with his experience in corporate law and strong leadership skills, makes him the ideal person to serve in this position.
