Trov Partnering with Suncorp

Suncorp has partnered with Trov.

According to a media release, the Trov mobile app automatically organizes information about the things people are buying, including receipts and market values, and stores it securely in the cloud. Trov users can then access details about their things when they need them - which is particularly important in the event of an insurance claim. After less than a year since launch, over $3.5 Billion worth of items have been added to Trovs globally with over $13 Million worth of new items being added daily.

In the first phase of the partnership, Trov users in Australia can connect to specially trained Suncorp Insurance representatives directly from their Trov to discuss insurance options for their things.

Suncorp Insurance Executive General Manager, Customer Product and Pricing, Lisa Harrison said approximately one third of people in Queensland, Australia either don't have sufficient contents insurance, or are unsure if they are adequately covered.

"Trov will give people the knowledge necessary to make informed decisions when it comes to selecting the appropriate level of cover to protect the things they value the most. Because it is so easy to use, provides up-to-date valuations and a direct link to Suncorp Insurance, Queenslanders will be in a better position than ever before to ensure they have sufficient cover for all that they have," concluded Harrison.
