Transamerica Retirement Services Appoints Charmaine Hughes as Vice President of Business Development
LOS ANGELES--(BUSINESS WIRE)-- Transamerica Retirement Services has announced the hiring of Charmaine Hughes as vice president of business development. In this position, Ms. Hughes will be responsible for deepening Transamerica’s distribution relationships with broker-dealer firms. She will be based in Milwaukee and will report to Kelly Michel, senior vice president of Institutional Sales and Business Development. Her hiring is effective immediately.

Ms. Hughes has almost two decades of professional marketing, sales and management experience, including eight years in retirement product development. Ms. Hughes joins Transamerica from M&I Institutional Trust Services, where she was vice president and national director, Emerging Business Retirement Plan Services.
Ms. Hughes holds her FINRA series 7, 65 and 24 licenses, as well as a Wisconsin Life Insurance License. Additionally, she is a Chartered Retirement Plan Specialist and an Accredited Investment Fiduciary.
