Three Industry Veterans Join Radian’s Sales Team to Support Company’s Growth

PHILADELPHIA--(BUSINESS WIRE)-- Radian Guaranty Inc., the mortgage insurance (MI) subsidiary of Radian Group Inc. (NYSE: RDN), announced today Andrew (Andy) Cooper, Shelley Duffy, and Patrick (P.J.) Harrigan have joined the company’s sales team.

In his role as Vice President, National Account Manager, Andy Cooper will manage relationships with some of Radian’s largest lending partners. A seasoned professional with more than 16 years of MI experience, Mr. Cooper most recently served as National Account Manager at another private mortgage insurer, where he was responsible for developing and maintaining business on a national basis, overseeing field sales and risk management operations for the national accounts he managed. Mr. Cooper holds a bachelor’s degree from Texas A&M University.

Shelley Duffy, who has a decade of experience in the mortgage banking industry, has joined Radian as Vice President, Managing Director, National New Business Development West. In this position, she will be responsible for establishing relationships with potential customers and cultivating relationships with customers new to Radian. Prior to joining Radian, Ms. Duffy served as an Account Executive in Correspondent Lending for JP Morgan Chase, where she was responsible for maintaining and growing a customer base and managing revenue. Ms. Duffy was named to JP Morgan Chase’s exclusive Leaders Circle in 2008.

Patrick (P.J.) Harrigan, CMB, joins Radian as Divisional Vice President for the company’s Western region, where he will be responsible for leading Radian’s field sales account managers in Alaska, Arizona, California, Colorado, Hawaii, Idaho, Montana, Nevada, New Mexico, Oregon, Utah, Washington, and Wyoming. With more than 20 years of mortgage banking experience, Mr. Harrigan served most recently with Franklin American Mortgage Company, where he was responsible for correspondent sales throughout Arizona, Colorado, New Mexico, Utah, and Wyoming. Prior to joining Franklin American, Mr. Harrigan spent three years as President of IndyMac Bank’s Western Correspondent Services Division. Mr. Harrigan holds a bachelor’s degree in business administration from Iowa State University and a master’s degree in public administration from Drake University.
