The New York Society of Security Analysts Expands Its CFA® Exam Review Faculty

NEW YORK--(BUSINESS WIRE)-- The New York Society of Security Analysts (NYSSA), the leading educational forum for the financial community and nearly 30-year provider of CFA® review courses, is pleased to announce the selection of new instructors for its CFA review courses: Dr. John Paul Broussard, Dr. Ehsan Nikbakht, and Ronald G. Quintero. They will join Dr. Andrew Spieler, instructor for Level I and II CFA exam prep review.

“We’re excited to welcome John, Ehsan and Ron to NYSSA,” said NYSSA President and CEO Amy Geffen, PhD. “Under their expert tutelage, students will continue to receive quality instruction and guidance so that they understand concepts on the exam, learn how to solve problems, and ultimately achieve their goal of attaining the CFA designation.”

Each instructor is a CFA charterholder in keeping with NYSSA’s belief that CFA exam preparatory courses are best taught by CFA charterholders who have experienced the exam themselves.

Dr. John Paul Broussardjoins NYSSA as a Level III instructor. He’s an associate finance professor at Rutgers University where he teaches investments and corporate finance courses. He has won various teaching awards in his career, and has taught CFA® study review courses since 1999 in Europe, Asia and the US. He is a CFA charterholder (CFA), a certified Financial Risk Manager (FRM), and a Professional Risk Manager (PRM). Dr. Broussard’s current efforts relate to option market microstructure, high frequency trading, and XBRL implementation.

Dr. Ehsan Nikbakhtwill also instruct for Level III exam prep courses. He has more than 18 years of professional corporate training in capital markets, equity, fixed income, risk management and derivatives. He has trained more than 1000 CFA and FRM candidates in the US, Canada, and Europe. Dr. Nikbakht was a regional director of a CFA and FRM Review Program in New York. He designed and taught advanced curriculum in capital markets, risk analysis, and investment banking at executive graduate and MBA levels at Hofstra University. He is a CFA charterholder, a certified Financial Risk Manager (FRM), a certified Professional Risk Manager (PRM), and a Certified Risk Manager (CRM).

Ronald G. Quinterojoins NYSSA as an instructor for Level II exam prep courses. He is a consultant and financial advisor who has conducted and managed public and in-house seminars at locations around the world for more than 25 years. He is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA), Certified Management Accountant (CMA), Certified Fraud Examiner (CFE), Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA), Certified Financial Planner (CFP), Certified Insolvency and Restructuring Advisor (CIRA), Certified Turnaround Professional (CTP), and has an Accreditation in Business Valuation (ABV), a Certification in Distressed Business Valuation (CDBV), and is Certified in Financial Forensics (CFF).
