The lawsuit deals with alleged facts that include the plaintiff driving in Las Vegas on November 4, 2010 in his Toyota Camry. The court documents allege that the plaintiff was driving in his lane and that he was properly restrained when he was in the vehicle. The plaintiff further alleges that at that time, he was hit on the rear of the driver’s side by an adverse vehicle that was not insured. The plaintiff alleges that he suffered damages in excess of $10,000 and seeks relief from the court.

The court documents further state that the plaintiff submitted a claim for uninsured motorist coverage with defendant Farmers Insurance Company as a result of being harmed by an uninsured driver, but that the insurance company offered only what the court documents described as a ‘nominal’ amount to settle the claim. The plaintiff also alleges that Farmers Insurance violated the terms of the policy and that plaintiff incurred additional damages as a result of this alleged breach.
