The Computer Merchant (TCM) Joins National Veterans Owned Business Association (NaVOBA)
TCM is now a proud member of NaVOBA, according to TCM’s founder and CEO,
NaVOBA’s Mission is to create opportunities for all of America’s veteran-owned businesses. NaVOBA works hard to convince major corporations to recognize the value of veteran-owned businesses as well as taking federal agencies to task ensuring they issue the required contracts to America’s veteran-owned businesses.
NaVOBA galvanizes the nation’s three million businesses owned by veterans by providing a single voice to advocate for important issues. The lessons learned and lived in military service like leadership, teamwork, competitive spirit, mission-orientation and work ethic are the same attributes needed to succeed in business. So it’s no surprise that veterans are twice as likely to own a business than non-veterans. According to Census data, one in seven veterans owns a business compared with only one in fourteen non-veterans. Other NaVOBA members and supporters include such recognizable names as
