The Bayfront Health Foundation, St. Petersburg, announces these new board members: James Gillespie, chairman; Dr. Larry Davis, vice chairman; Chip Jones, treasurer; and Dimity Carlson, secretary. Gillespie is executive director of the St. Petersburg Automobile Dealers Association; Davis is medical director of laboratory and pathology at Bayfront Medical Center, St. Petersburg; Jones is a shareholder at Kirkland, Russ, Murphy & Tapp PA, Clearwater; and Carlson is a community volunteer.

Mike Carrigan Jr. has been named marine account executive at Wallace Welch & Willingham Marine Insurance, St. Petersburg. Carrigan was sales and marketing director and regional sales manager at Scout Boats, Summerville, S.C.
AmeriLife Group LLC, Clearwater, announces the following appointments: Loida Abraham has been named chief executive officer of Long Term Care Edge, AmeriLife's new marketing company; Caren Ventrone has been named project manager of American Publishing; and David Rainwater has been promoted to president of AmeriLife Career Agency. Abraham was senior vice president of U.S. health products at Swiss Re in Massachusetts; Ventrone was publishing coordinator for AAA's Going Places magazine for AAA South, Tampa; and Rainwater was regional vice president.
Public relations
Walker Brands, Tampa, announces these new hires: Tim Martin, director of brand strategy; Leah Creal, director of operations; and Kelly Machonis, office manager. Martin was senior strategist at Newtrix, Tampa. Creal was manager of marketing at Samuels & Associates, Boston; and Machonis was a coordinator at Williams-Sonoma, Tampa.

Monique Spruill has been named executive director of Brentwood Senior Living Community, St. Petersburg. Spruill was a business analyst at the Hartford Insurance Co.
