SwervePay Health Joins Forces with Relatient
According to a media release, by embedding SwervePay's one-click payment processing into Relatient's appointment reminders, patients are able to submit co-payments prior to arrival at their physician's office, creating a prepaid appointment and helping reduce no-shows and improve front office efficiencies.
Specifically, SwervePay will integrate its ePayment feature with Relatient's text-based appointment reminders. Each text message -- which along with email is the method of payment communication preferred by 65 percent of patients -- will include a direct link to SwervePay's online payment platform.
"Collecting co-pays and other payments is a complex undertaking that often leaves physician practices and other healthcare organizations saddled with stagnant cash flow, a challenge exacerbated by the growing debt problem attributed to high deductible insurance plans," said
Relatient's Unlimited Appointment Reminders reduce the high costs of patient no-shows through timely and effective appointment reminders deployed using best-practices sequencing of the latest automated voice, text and email technologies. The company's patient satisfaction surveys are automated and provide insights into a patient's experiences with staff, procedures, facilities and care. Relatient's patient engagement technology, which includes Relatient PRM (Patient Relationship Manager) and RelatientODM (On Demand Messaging), integrates with virtually all practice management solutions on the market.
"By partnering with SwervePay, we are now able to offer prepaid appointments, something very unique in this industry," said
Relatient is a healthcare messaging solution that delivers timely, effective messages to the healthcare consumer and back to the Provider.
