As part of the
Contractors providing ATC services under the FCT program during the first FCT competition in 1994 were required to purchase adequate aviation liability insurance on their own. The costs were subsequently passed on to the government through higher pricing proposals for ATC services. Based on the experience gained in 1994, the
Aviation insurance broker assistance administering the program will once again be required. The services of the broker will include acquiring the necessary aviation liability insurance in addition to managing the aviation insurance program in conjunction with the
The FCT Program Office will seek an insurance broker that will acquire aviation liability insurance from one or more aviation insurance companies. The Broker will be responsible for recommending insurers to the program office.
