BRANCHVILLE, N.J., Nov. 9, 2011 /PRNewswire/ -- Selective Insurance Group, Inc. (Nasdaq: SIGI) announced the following appointments by its subsidiary, Selective Insurance Company of America:
Dana D. Shutters(Sparta, NJ) to vice president, Operational Excellence. Mr. Shutters joined Selective in November 2010 as assistant vice president, Quality Assurance. Prior to that, he was vice president, Resolution Services with CUNA Mutual Insurance Society. Mr. Shutters attended Queens College in Charlotte, NC and holds designations as a Chartered Insurance Operations Professional, a Certified Compliance & Ethics Professional, a Credit Union Development Educator and a Master Insurance Business Analyst. Additionally, he earned certifications in Six Sigma and the Insurance Institute of America.
Katherine L. Slonina (Andover, NJ) to assistant vice president, Regulatory Compliance Officer. Ms. Slonina joined Selective in February 2011 as manager of Regulatory Services. Prior to that, she served as an auditor with American Safety Insurance Group. Ms. Slonina holds designations as both an Associate in Management and a Certified Professional Insurance Woman.
