Rothfus Announces Military and Veterans’ Advisory Board

Ross Township, PA - Congressman Keith Rothfus [PA-12] today convened the first official meeting of his Military and Veterans' Advisory Board. The Board includes local service members and veterans from Pennsylvania'sTwelfth District. It will advise and assist Congressman Rothfus as he continues working to better serve members of the military and veterans.

"We owe our servicemembers and veterans a debt of gratitude that can never be repaid. It is our moral obligation to provide these brave men and women with the resources they need while deployed and to care for them when they come home."

"This panel of local servicemembers and veterans will help me as I work in Western Pennsylvania and in Washington, D.C. towards solutions for challenges including the VA disability claims backlog and the deadly outbreak of Legionnaires' disease at the Pittsburgh VA. We also have to take measures to address veterans' homelessness, suicide, and mental illness and to help our veterans find jobs."
