Richmond Personal Injury Attorney Wayne O’Bryan Posts Valuable Information About Insurance Claims

PR Web

Richmond, VA (PRWEB) July 31, 2014

At the very end of July, Richmond personal injury attorney Wayne O'Bryan posted a new video to his website.

In the video, Wayne O'Bryan describes how his firm handles insurance claims in Richmond. O'Bryan worked for insurance companies in the past, so he's very familiar with the strategies they use. Today, he prefers to stand between his clients and the insurance companies, protecting them from the insurance companies' tricky tactics. Using his experience with these sorts of cases, he aims to ease them through Virginia's insurance claim process with as little stress as possible.

According to O'Bryan, many insurance companies go into a claim thinking that the client is faking injuries to get "a quick buck", and they have a tendency to discount any injury. O'Bryan has seen people being dismissed who genuinely need help.

He notes that insurance companies sometimes refer to "controlling the case", which involves keeping the injured party away from a lawyer. They know that, if the client gets to a lawyer quickly, the insurance company will end up paying more money.

Finally, O'Bryan warns that insurance companies are information gatherers, not information givers. They will collect information about the case from clients, but they won't necessarily give any information back in return.
