Quality Built’s Windstorm Plus program allows policyholders to obtain a complete and accurate windstorm mitigation inspection on their own that will help them avoid the administrative burdens and costs of re-inspection for a period of up to five years when purchasing insurance from participating carriers.1 With the addition of Florida Peninsula, Quality Built’s participating carriers now serve more than 400,000 policyholders who may participate in the program. Quality Built is working hard to expand the number of participating carriers and make the Windstorm Plus™ program available to all policyholders in Florida.

Launched in August 2012, the Quality Built Windstorm Plus program is the first and only windstorm mitigation inspection program in Florida designed to provide policyholders and insurance agents with certainty and peace of mind with respect to windstorm mitigation credits. Each Windstorm Plus inspection is produced via a rigorous process that requires the use of trained, licensed and properly insured inspectors and inspection companies, a final third-party quality review by Quality Built prior to acceptance of the inspection report, and the highest standards of customer service to ensure the results of each inspection are clear to each and every customer. Quality Built's approved Inspection Management Companies and their inspectors are fully reviewed and approved by Quality Built. Quality Built’s program helps assure that Florida citizens and policyholders will not suffer the harmful consequences and costs associated with unacceptable or false inspection reports.
