QBE European operations selects Guidewire for claims management
Dec 15, 2009 (Datamonitor via COMTEX) -- Guidewire Software, a US-based provider of core systems to property/casualty insurers, has said that Australia-based QBE Insurance Group's European operations has selected Guidewire ClaimCenter for claims management.
Guidewire ClaimCenter is a claims system for property/casualty insurance. ClaimCenter's flexible business rules enable claims organizations to optimize and monitor the claim process. Claims executives can define, enforce, and continually refine their preferred claim handling practices. In addition, ClaimCenter uses a modern technology architecture, including a 100% web client and web services interface, which enables lower total cost of ownership in any environment, claims Guidewire Software.
Andrew McBride, claims director for QBE European operations, said: "The implementation of this new system will ensure that QBE remains at the leading edge of claims capability. This system is crucial to QBE's continued commitment to its clients to deliver an efficient, responsive and timely claims handling and settlement service."
