Prudential Investments launches Global Opportunities Fund

Business Wire, Inc.

NEWARK, N.J.--(BUSINESS WIRE)-- Prudential Investments today announced the launch of the Prudential Jennison Global Opportunities Fund (A: PRJAX), a mutual fund that offers investors the potential for long-term growth by investing in companies from a broad range of countries, including emerging markets. The investment strategy is not constrained by region, country, or industry sector. The fund will invest primarily in equity and equity-related securities of companies located typically in a number of different countries around the world. There is no guarantee the fund’s objective will be achieved.

The fund’s rigorous bottom-up investment strategy is led by Jennison Associates LLC’s four-member Global Equity Team, whose members average 18 years of investment experience and is headed by Mark Baribeau. As part of its fundamental research, the team examines an investment candidate’s current market share and positioning relative to its competitors, prominence within its industry, ability to benefit from economies of scale and potential to increase market share among other factors.

The team also leverages the insights and experience of Jennison’s 26 research analysts, many of whom are sector specialists and work on the firms other equity strategies.
