This pre-solicitation notice is for Lodging services for the 80th Training Command, HHC 97th ILE BDE in Fort Sheridan, IL for a period of performance from 1 January 2014 through 31 December 2014 with an option for two (2) year(s). This requirement includes 200 room nights of lodging for the base year and 200 room nights of lodging for each of the two (2) option year(s). This is not a solicitation for Event Planning Services. For a proposal submitted by an offeror that is not a hotel, the offeror must describe in its proposal the technical approach for the offeror's services as a prime contractor and must also include a copy of all insurance (s) (standard business, liability, extraordinary insurances) in order to submit a complete technical proposal for evaluation purposes. (Again, this is not a solicitation for Event Planning Services. An offer which requires the Government to execute a separate agreement with a third party hotel shall be deemed technically unacceptable). The award will be a fixed price contract with a period of performance from 1 January 2014 through 31 December 2014 and an option for two (2) year(s). This acquisition is 100% total small business set-aside. The primary North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) is 721110, size standard of $30.0 Million. Prospective Contractors must be verified on System for Award Management (SAM) website. The solicitation will be posted on or about 27 November 2013 via Army Single Face to Industry (ASFI) Acquisition to Business Website located at https://acquisition.army.mil. The due date will be stated in the solicitation estimated at 11 December 2013 @ 12PM East Coast Time. The solicitation and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-59. It is the responsibility of the offeror to review the web page for notice of amendments, updates or changes to the solicitation. No hard copies will be mailed. To be eligible for award, prospective offerors must be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) Internet site, www.sam.gov, under the appropriate small business category and NAICS should be registered on ORCA Internet Site.
