Population Health Impact Institute Announces Online Course for Method Evaluation Process™ (MEP™) Standards Course Participants Can Earn MEP Certification
LOVELAND, OH - March 31, 2009 - The Population Health Impact Institute (PHII), a non-profit 501(c)(3) organization, is pleased to announce the launch of the Methods Evaluation Process (MEP) online education program. Through the MEP course, individuals will learn the evaluation strategies that promote transparent attribution methods and comparative effectiveness assessments.
Dr. Thomas Wilson, Board Chair of PHII, notes “National experts have developed the MEP standards to help Americans evaluate the methods used to make claims for population health management programs. The PHI Institute is pleased to offer the MEP educational program to provide individuals the opportunity to demonstrate their understanding of the principles of transparent program evaluations, and the basics of comparative effectiveness assessments.”

In addition, PHII will be offering a mini MEP workshop on April 8th in Orlando, FL, in conjunction with the Institute for Health and Productivity Management, and on June 18th in Phoenix, AZ in conjunction with the annual meeting of the Case Management Society of America. Workshop attendees can receive discounts on the online MEP course and examination.
The MEP Accreditation Program enables organizations to demonstrate that their programs adhere to basic comparative effectiveness principles and the MEP standards.
