PilotFish Technology and NAVA, The Association for Insured Retirement Solutions, Jointly Announce the Release of the XCS eiConsole for NAVA
MIDDLETOWN, Conn.--(BUSINESS WIRE)-- PilotFish Technology and NAVA are pleased to announce that the PilotFish XCS eiConsole is now available to NAVA membership to enable the rapid implementation of all NAVA messages.
The XCS eiConsole is a best-of-breed developer and business analyst's tool for developing, testing, deploying, managing, and maintaining interfaces between internal systems and external trading partners. The collaboration between PilotFish and NAVA on the development of the XCS eiConsole for NAVA further enhances this offering with capabilities specific to NAVA's XML message formats.
NAVA members and users of the XCS eiConsole for NAVA will have access to message templates for all NAVA messages, including:
- The Product Profile for Annuities (PPfA)
- Annuity Order
- Carrier / Distributor / Investment Product Profiles
The XCS eiConsole for NAVA includes a graphical XCS Data Mapper with integrated support for the NAVA Master Message Specification. The Data Mapper provides in-line, searchable access to all of the NAVA documentation, validation rules, and code lists - populated dynamically from the information-rich master file. Combined with the message templates and drag-and-drop field mapping, this tool promises to dramatically reduce a formerly time consuming and error-prone part of the standards implementation process.
Transformation-building capabilities are enhanced by the XCS eiConsole for NAVA Validation Engine. The Validation Engine is the first to automatically evaluate business rules documented in the NAVA standard against an XML document. This automated validation capability will allow carriers and other participants to quickly and easily verify their compliance with each release of the NAVA standard. The enforcement of machine-readable business rules will also greatly assist in promoting compatibility between trading partners.
The XCS eiConsole for NAVA is available for public download through the NAVA website.
A free evaluation version of the tool will provide all public NAVA message specifications as well as the easy-to-use and powerful message development and testing capabilities of the XCS eiConsole solution. Licensed users and NAVA Members will receive additional benefits including sample files and pre-developed testing scripts.
PilotFish and NAVA are proud to offer the XCS eiConsole for NAVA to the insurance community. The combination of NAVA's robust standards deliverables with a powerful development tool promises to foster productivity and facilitate implementation.
Ultimately, the combination of the PilotFish XCS eiConsole and the NAVA standard will increase speed to market, improve data quality, and enhance the profitability of implementers.
