Pensco Names Stephen George to Its Board of Directors

Pensco reported that
In a company release, Pensco said that George's appointment comes as Pensco reports demand for private equity.
"Investment opportunities in private equity are growing, and have become only more accessible to individual investors via crowdfunding platforms and new private equity marketplaces," said
"Our investment in Pensco underscores the fact that we are very excited about the possibilities that lie ahead for the company as increasing numbers of individual investors begin to incorporate alternative investments into their long-term retirement planning," said George. "I have spent the majority of my career helping institutional investors leverage alternative strategies and now I hope to leverage the depth and breadth of that experience to make these types of opportunities available to individual investors too."
George has a 25 year history in private equity and investment management. Prior to founding Panorama he was the co-founder and chief investment officer at
Pensco is an alternative asset custodian helping investors buy, hold and divest non-publicly traded investments in tax-advantaged accounts.
