Nexus Ends Five Year Litigation with Technology Integration Group

Nexus IS Inc. (“Nexus”) headquartered in Valencia, California, was sued in 2008 by Technology Integration Group (“TIG”), headquartered in San Diego, California for various claims involving several former TIG employees’ decision to change companies and join Nexus. The move of these employees, unfortunately, motivated TIG to file suit against Nexus and the individuals who joined Nexus. The case (PC Specialists, Inc. dba Technology Integration Group v. Nexus IS, Inc., et al, Case No. PC043775) was filed in the Superior Court of California, County of Los Angeles and was recently settled with Nexus’ insurance carrier funding the majority of the settlement and all of Nexus’ defense costs. Nexus’ insurer decided to fund a settlement rather than continue with the litigation due to the mounting costs of the litigation and the potential that the matter would be tied up in the courts for years.
