NOVACES Awarded Contract for Comprehensive Business Process Improvement Support for the Pension Benefit Guaranty Corporation
NOVACES, a leading provider of Lean Six Sigma, continuous process improvement (CPI), and performance improvement consulting services to the public sector, announced today that it has been competitively selected by the
PBGC protects the retirement incomes of more than 44 million American workers in over 27,500 private-sector defined benefit pension plans. The organization is not funded by general tax revenues. Rather, PBGC collects insurance premiums from employers that sponsor insured pension plans, earns money from investments and receives funds from pension plans it takes over.
NOVACES will leverage its portfolio of performance improvement services to the Federal Government in diverse areas such as naval shipbuilding, aviation maintenance, defense logistics, military healthcare, missile defense, garrison services, and public engineering services to assist PBGC’s Business Process Management Unit.
Under this contract, NOVACES will lead process improvement work sessions for PBGC’s transactional services and knowledge-based systems, and work with the organization’s management on other relevant process and Lean Six Sigma tools and methodologies. The work will focus attention on staff development endeavors, including project identification, execution, and performance measurement.
