Manheim Township-based Simon Lever LLP named Jonathan Fry and Kurtis Groffpartners. Fry also leads management advisory services. He was a principal with the accounting and audit services department and oversaw construction services and business development. He has a BS in accounting from Grove City College. Annville Township-based Lebanon Valley College named Philip Benesch, David Cass and Greg Hessinger trustees. Benesch is an associate professor of political science and director of the school's law and society program. He is a graduate of University College London and the London School of Economics, and has a doctorate in political science from the University of Delaware. Cass is senior vice president and chief information security officer at Elsevier. He has a BS in biology from LVC, an MBA from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology and a master of science in engineering degree from the University of Pennsylvania. Hessinger is a partner with Curley Hessinger & Johnsrud LLP, specializing in labor and employment law. He was national executive director and CEO of the Screen Actors Guild and national executive director of the American Federation of Television and Radio Artists. He has a BS in political science from LVC and a law degree from St. John's University.

Lancaster-based Ocean Thermal Energy Corp. named James D. Greenberg chief sustainability officer. He will increase efforts to explain the benefits of ocean thermalenergy conversion and sea water air-conditioning technology. He was head of communications. Previously, he was managing partner of Katherman Briggs and Greenberg. Laura Worker was named marketing manager. She was a district marketing leader with Trane Commercial System and a marketing manager with Westfalia Technologies Inc. She has a bachelor's degree from Dickinson College and an MBA from Temple University.

Springettsbury Township-based McConkey Insurance & Benefits named Lisa M. Farrell a commercial lines client services agent. She was a client services agent. She has a BA in professional writing from York College. JohnMark Rohrbaugh was named a select and surety client services manager. He has more than 18 years of insurance experience and a bachelor's degree in mathematics from West Virginia University.

Susquehanna Township-based Mette Evans & Woodside elected Mark D. Hipp president, Timothy A. Hoy vice president and Heather Z. Kelly treasurer and secretary. Hipp focuses on business law, energy law, estates & trusts, real estate and land use, and taxation.

Pittsburgh-based K&L Gates LLP named Amy Groffand Anthony Holtzman partners with its Harrisburg office. They were associates. Groff's practice includes employment law and general civil and commercial litigation. Holtzman focuses on environmental, constitutional and gaming law and appellate litigation.

Swatara Township-based JPL named Brian Kelley an associate creative director. He was employed with Shelton Group and as a senior copywriter with BBDO. He has a BS in journalism and advertising from West Virginia University.

York-based Caskey Group named Kristen Cavey an account executive. She was employed with RPS Solutions Group in Baltimore. She has 10 years of printing experience and will work to expand Caskey's Maryland footprint.

Comcast Cable named Robert DeFord vice president of sales and marketing for its Chester County-based Keystone region, which includes most of Pennsylvania. He was a regional vice president of sales with Super Media LLC and has a BS in marketing from Rowan University. Chris Lawler was named vice president of finance and business operations. He has more than 16 years of experience, most recently as vice president of financial operations with the Northeast division, and a BS from Towson University.

NONPROFITS

Lancaster Mediation Center named Mila Pilz executive director. She is a certified mediator and has been a member of the curriculum development and training committee since July. She has bachelor's degrees in mass communication and communication studies from Bloomsburg University and master's degrees in conflict resolution and international and intercultural communication from the University of Denver.

York-based Bell Socialization Services Inc. named Teri L. Contino fiscal manager. She will oversee cost reports and budgets, and have a major role in the agency's audits. She was an accountant. She has a BA in education from York College and a BS in accounting from Strayer University.

Lancaster County Community Foundation named Fran Rodriguez and Dave Koser program officers. Rodriguez will focus on scholarship and youth leadership programs, capacity building and the Extraordinary Give, Lancaster County's largest day of giving. She was commissioner and chairwoman of the Governor's Advisory Commission on Latino Affairs.
