Mobileye Updates on Integration of Its Collision Avoidance System with Accel’s Voyager Connected Car Smartphone

Proquest LLC

Mobileye, N.V., a provider of camera-based driver assistance systems (ADAS) technologies for the automotive industry and Accel Telecom, a supplier of cellular based connected car solutions, have announced the integration of Mobileye's Collision avoidance system with Accel's Voyager connected car smartphone.

According to a release, the integrated solution allows remote monitoring of Mobileye alerts transmitted via the Voyager 3G cellular connection, which is ideal for fleet managers, insurance companies and families that want to receive real time updates on their driver's behavior on the road.

Isaac Litman, Mobileye CEO, said: Integrating Mobileye Collision Avoidance systems with VOYAGER is an elegant solution that allows both the driver and a third party to receive Mobileye's life saving alerts in real time which is a real need for fleet managers, businesses, families and more. We are happy to partner with Accel on this exciting offering and believe it will enhance the Mobileye experience.

Marc Seelenfreund, Accel CEO, said: Voyager is designed to enhance safe driving and provide an advanced connected car driving experience. The integrated VOYAGER - Mobileye solution will add an additional layer of driver safety via remote monitoring of Mobileye alerts. GSMA forecasts the global connected car market to grow threefold within 5 years and will be worth 39 Billion Euro in 2018. Adding remote monitoring for Mobileye's leading Collision Avoidance system via our connected car smartphone will certainly be beneficial for this large scale market.

-Netatmo Unveils Bracelet that Measures Sun Exposure

. SUBJECTCODE

04006003

Netatmo has unveiled June, the first bracelet that measures sun exposure.

According to a release, the bracelet advises women how to protect their skin on a daily basis from the effects of the sun. Sun exposure can cause sunburn and lead to premature skin aging, even on overcast days. June and its companion App offer a new serenity in the sun.

The company reported that June tracks UV intensity in real-time and the total sun exposure absorbed by the user's skin throughout the day. Depending on the woman's skin type, the App calculates the suggested maximum daily exposure. Every woman can monitor their sun dose measured in percentage throughout the day. To avoid sun damage, the App can notify the user when to protect their skin. The App also features a summary of time spent in the sun, allowing the user to see when the UV rays impact on the skin was most intense during the day.

The App advises women on how to maintain their skin. The bracelet observes the habits of the user and the companion App determines the recommended sun protection for their skin type whether it be applying SPF, putting on a hat, wearing sun glasses or seeking out shade. Versatile, June can be worn as a bracelet or a brooch. Created by French jewelry designer Camille Toupet in the spirit of a diamond with glimmering facets, June comes in three colors: gold, platinum and gunmetal.

Additionally, Netatmo was awarded 3 CES Innovations Design and Engineering Awards in 2014, 2 of which were for June, which won in the "Wearable Technologies" and the "Tech for a Better World" categories. This follows netatmo's 2013 winning streak where the brand also received 3 CES awards.

June by netatmo was presented exclusively at the Consumer Electronics Show (CES) in Las Vegas.

June will be available in the second quarter of 2014 in select fashion, beauty and consumer electronics stores.

The June App will be available for free download and will be compatible for iPhone 4S and above.

Netatmo is a company developing consumer electronics for a better and connected lifestyle. Netatmo designs their products' mechanics, electronics and embedded software.
